This group is amazing! To see teenagers using hip-hop to witness for the Lord. The song is “We Are the Reason”. Their version is in Korean, but here are the lyrics in English. As little children we would dream of Christmas morn Of all the gifts and toys we knew we’d find But we never realized a baby born one blessed night Gave us the greatest gift of our lives *We were the reason that He gave His life We were the reason that He suffered and died To a world that was lost He gave all He could give To show us the reason to live As the years went by we learned more about gifts The giving of ourselves and what that means On a dark and cloudy day a man hung crying in the rain All because of love All because of love *Chorus I finally found the reason for living It’s in giving every part of my heart to Him (every part to Him) And all that I do every word that I say (you know I’ll be saying) I’ll be giving my all just for Him, for Him (every thing for Him) We are the reason that He gave His life We are the reason that He suffered and died To a world that was lost He gave all He could give (all that he could give all) To show us the reason to live #He is the reason to live (don’t you know do you know the reason that he came, oh he came to save us when he gave his life for us) he suffered and died To a world that was lost He gave everything (everything that He had He gave) To show us the reason to live

Last Friday, before our worship practice, we had our usual Bible Study. That day, Teacher Eda effectively facilitated the teaching.

It is very refreshing to be reminded about what spiritual worship. This is what we were reminded about:

That we can only have overflowing hearts of worship if we are born again in the spirit –  that is being yielded to the Holy Spirit who produces true worship. With God cleansing our hearts, we are motivated to know HIM.

First Corinthians 12:3 says, “No one can say, ‘Jesus is Lord’, except by the Holy Spirit.”

Thus, we cannot truly affirm the Lordship of Jesus Christ without the Holy Spirit. And we can only receive the Holy Spirit at the time when we receive Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Worship comes from a steadfast heart, one that is resolute, determined and focused solely on God. If you think of yourself more and how you want others to look at you as you worship, then you need to stop on your tracks and be right.

We must be repentant. We must be cleansed, purged, purified, having our sins confessed before God. For we can only enter into an intimate communion with our Holy God if our sin is sincerely dealt with. If we don’t, we will have difficulty abandoning ourselves in worship.

We are now about to join together in corporate worship. Let us all take time to ask God to direct His searchlight upon us to expose whatever is in the shadows, asking HIM to cleanse us as we repent. You’ll see the river of worship in this place shall easily occur.

Come, the river is so refreshing! Let’s jump and swim!

In HIM in true worship!!!

Many of our daily routines can be cut into either Principles or Decisions.

Like, today a Principle you followed is: “I don’t go outside without clothes on.” You didn’t have to ask yourself, “Should I wear clothes today?” In fact, you wouldn’t be caught dead outside without anything on! Being clothed is a Principle, not a Decision. You get to decide what clothes to wear, but not IF you will wear clothes.

It’s important for us to know the difference between a Principle and a Decision.

A Principle is defined as “a personal or specific basis of conduct or management”. It’s what you believe in and live by.

A Decision is defined as “the act of or need for making up one’s mind”. It’s something you “do or not do“.

Now consider these issues:

* I read my Bible every day.

* I pray for others every day.

* I go to Church or Bible Study weekly.

* I share the love of Jesus to others who need Him.

Are they Principles or Decisions?

If you make them to be Decisions, then you will have a choice to “do or not do”. If something comes up and interrupts your schedule, you may decide not to do them.

If you make them to be your Principles , then God’s Word, Prayer, Worship, and Witness  become issues “you live by”. They dictate your life, conduct, priorities and schedules.

Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. – 1 Corinthians 15:58.

May we be known as Men and Women of Principle!
